Important Information

For your credit application to apply to rent, you will need to supply:

1. Your name, date of birth and marital status
2. Drivers license or passport details
3. Contact details
4. Business Details if you are applying as a business

1. Landlord or mortgage details including address and phone number
2. Previous address details if you have lived in the current residence for less than 2 years

1. Employers address and contact details
2. Previous employer details if you have been in your current job for less than 2 years

Privacy Authorisation

Before your application is processed, we need to make disclosures to you about the Privacy Act and obtain authorisations from you in accordance with the terms of that Act. The authorisations relate to information that can be obtained before, during or after the provision to you of the credit.

1. Firstly, the Privacy Act allows us to give a credit reporting agency certain information about you and your application for credit in order to obtain a credit report about you. This information can include:

1. your name;
2. address;
3. date of birth;
4. drivers license number; and
5. the fact that you have applied for credit and the amount

2. Secondly, to enable us to assess your application and your creditworthiness, or in connection with the collection of overdue payments, we may need to obtain a credit report from a credit reporting agency and we require your authorisation to do so.

3. Finally, we require you to authorise us to give and seek information from any of our financiers, or any credit providers or referees name in your application or in any credit report about you, information about your creditworthiness, credit standing, credit history or credit capacity as permitted under the Privacy Act. We can exchange this information for any one of the following purposes:

1. To assess your application;
2. To notify other credit providers of a default by you;
3. To advise other credit providers of the status of this loan in circumstances where you are in default with other credit providers; or
4. To assess your creditworthiness.
